Hunsa means "delight" or "happiness" in Thai.

We want our restaurant to reflect just that.

From Thailand to San Diego, and now Seabrook, TX; Hunsa Thai Kitchen is the place where the three of us (Jeeb, Nu & Sol) proudly call home.

After a decade of friendship and a destiny, we felt there couldn't be a better time to turn our dreams into a reality. Let's turn our yummy thoughts into a restaurant!

You bet - it was not easy to come up with a good name for this restaurant. We put our heads together and brainstormed. Finally, we came up with the name that made perfect sense. This name, Hunsa, best reflects our fun and outgoing personalities with a touch of silliness.

We first opened our doors (did we mention "bright, orange doors"?) to our very first customers in November 2017. Since then, we have enjoyed introducing many fresh, homemade and MSG-free creations from our cozy kitchen to our local residents, curious foodies, and Thai food lovers.

Our primary goal is to serve our customers with the high quality, freshest ingredients and most importantly MSG-free.
